Mansoor Adayfi: Close Guantánamo!
This episode features the guest speaker of Scoil Gheimhridh Uí Chadhain 2024, Mansoor Adayfi. Mansoor was born in Yemen and at 18 years of age he was detained in Guantanamo Bay, the infamous US military prison. Mansoor was tortured during the 14 years he spent there without ever being charged. He published a book Don’t Forget Us Here: Lost and Found at Guantanamo and he now campaigns to close Guantanmo Bay down. At the Scoil Gheimhridh he was in conversation with Clare Daly, the Independent MEP for Dublin. Bainigí sult!
