Yas Rodriguez is a community and socialist activist from Cuba who has lived in Belfast for over 20 years and who has been part of a range of community campaigns here since, especially around Cuban Solidarity against the US blockade on her country. She played a central role in making the biggest Cuban flag in history that she then helped put on Black Mountain in West Belfast in 2021 as part of the UnblockCuba campaign.
